It is almost strawberry picking season and we are finding fresh, local strawberries in the store again. This is one of our favorite ways to use them. My kids ask for strawberry milk shakes every time they have friends over. To make four small glasses, put one cup of whole milk, 1 cup plain yogurt, 1/4 cup ground flax, 2 tablespoons nut butter, 2 tablespoons local honey, 2 bananas, and 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen) into a blender and process until smooth.
On day 45 of this 365 day project, I ate my daily five (including some carrot tops, which is something new). Did you enjoy yours?
