I had some work done on a tooth today and I have a new commitment to taking care of them – and teaching my kids to do the same. Some of the best fruits and vegetables for tooth health include apples, carrots, and celery because they stimulate strong, healthy gums. But did you know that leafy greens and cruciferous vegetables are also critical. They contain vitamin A, vitamin C, beta carotene, phosphorus, calcium, and magnesium, which are all essential for healthy teeth.
On day 82 of this 365 day project, I ate my daily five (including a huge salad bar lunch with every color of the rainbow – which I could barely eat with my numb jaw, but still enjoyed). Did you enjoy yours?
With love, Kristen
